Dena Espenscheid

Dena Espenscheid has over twenty years of professional political and policy experience. She started as a glorified assistant for the public policy division of a pregnancy care center and abstinence-until-marriage ministry. She has also been a state lobbyist and a paid political campaigner.

During her last paid campaign in 2015 and 2016, she was field director for Donald J. Trump for President in Virginia, West Virginia, District of Columbia, and Maryland. Since joining Leadership Institute in 2016, she has taught more than 23,000 conservatives to win in state legislatures and at the ballot box. In 2022, she initiated the Coalitions Division, which works with special interest groups, such as pro-life organizations, to bring specialized political campaign trainings to their activists and volunteers. Since then, she has taught more than 5,000 pro-life activists how to be more effective in the political arena.
