Elizabeth Eastman holds a Ph.D. in Political Science an M.A. in Liberal Education, and a B.A. in French Literature. She has taught in political science and history departments and in the liberal studies programs at colleges and universities around the country. She was the 2020-21 Senior Scholar in Residence at the Benson Center for the Study of Western Civilization in Boulder, Colorado. Her writing has been published at Chronicles, Interpretation: A Journal of Political Philosophy, Academic Questions, Review of Politics, American Greatness, Gatestone Institute, and Imaginative Conservative. She has served on the Editorial Board of Interpretation, the U. S. Commission on Civil Rights New Mexico Advisory Committee, the California State University at Fullerton Liberal Studies Council, the St. John’s College Alumni Association Board, and the New Mexico Economic Development and Tourism Board. She is currently serving her second term on the Board of Desert Rose Women’s Resource Center in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
