Our Story
The Samaritan Summit began with a simple question inspired by a familiar parable.
In the story of the Good Samaritan, Jesus honors the one who stopped; the one who truly saw the person in front of him and stepped into another’s pain with compassion, truth, and action.
Pregnancy centers live out that calling every day.
They meet women on the roadside of crisis, uncertainty, and fear, and choose to stop.
They offer presence, wisdom, care, and hope in some of the most vulnerable moments of a woman’s life.
For Jennifer (SperaVita) and Nelly (Choose Life), this parable had always been more than a lesson. It was a picture of what pregnancy center leaders embody in real time. Over the years, as they crossed paths at gatherings across the country, they built friendships and developed deep respect for the work being done throughout the movement.
At the same time, a conviction began to grow.
They saw the increasing cultural pressure on pregnancy centers, the complexity of frontline leadership, and the rapid rise of technology that could either strengthen or strain the work. They sensed the need for space to speak honestly about these realities without softening the truth or avoiding difficult conversations.
What began to take shape was a vision for a gathering rooted in biblical boldness and practical wisdom. A place where leaders could talk candidly about what they are facing, learn from one another, and find renewed clarity for the road ahead.
That vision became the Samaritan Summit.
Why the Samaritan Summit Exists
Pregnancy center leaders carry an uncommon weight.
They lead in the midst of cultural hostility, legal uncertainty, emotional fatigue, and constant change while remaining faithful to the women and families they serve.
The Samaritan Summit exists because this calling deserves space.
Space to speak honestly about what is happening on the frontlines.
Space to address abortion without euphemism or fear.
Space to explore how faith, leadership, and innovation intersect in today’s reality.
This gathering was created to equip leaders with more than information. It exists to strengthen conviction, sharpen discernment, and encourage faithful action rooted in Scripture.
The Samaritan Summit brings together pregnancy center leaders and allies who are willing to step into hard conversations, collaborate thoughtfully, and pursue excellence with courage and humility.
It is not about trends or talking points. It is about clarity, courage, and community, so those who stop for women in crisis are themselves supported, edified, and renewed.
